Picnic tables are plastic coated and the sun has damaged some, use a towel for comfort. Did encounter a very long black snake, non poisonous, near office steps. No where is this written at the laundromat….you just have to figure out why you got screwed on that first $10!! Casino has a restaurant, but food is mediocre at best. No other refunds if you still have money on the card. Weekend prices are higher, like a hotel! If you use the laundromat, you will need to put in a $10 just for the electronic card, then you need to add money onto the card to use in the washers and dryers ($2.50 for 30 mi wash and same for 60 min dryer.) receptionist will refund your $10 if the card has an * on it, otherwise its a $5 refund. Although advertised sites are a specific price, no discount was actually applied for Good Sam or any others, but receptionist said it was ‘built in’ on the computer. Sites 69 and 70 are separated by a large grassy area which seemed to be used by lots of dogs. We stayed here twice with a break of 3 days in between.
Spoke to several others who received the same customer service level we did so sounds more like the normal. we wouldn’t stay again nor would we recommend it. They get away with charging so much because it is a great location for going to Lake Tahoe AND Reno! Super conscientious for both! Overall I think it was a bit overpriced - the pool was small - the “casino” was disgusting and the cloud of cigarette smoke unbearable. When you pay $400+ dollars to stay somewhere for a week you think they’d at minimum be courteous when THEY mess something up… when my husband went to check she was extremely rude and said “of course you still have to move - you booked online which messes everything up” She told us to come check before we moved to see if anyone cancelled and we could stay put. She said fine but was extremely rude about it… She THEN said it would cost more because we wouldn’t be in the same spot for a week🤯 I politely said no - This wasn’t our fault, you all messed up and we shouldn’t have to pay more because of that. She then told us we could have a bigger spot but not the same one for the whole time - we’d have to move. When we declined and said we pre-booked a week for our size rig so we’d like a spot big enough she acted as if WE were the problem and said “this is why you shouldn’t book online” We booked 7 nights - when we arrived the office lady attempted to put us in a spot that was WAY to small for our rig and told us to park our truck in over flow parking (where you cannot see it) Even then, it was not big enough.
